Washing, drying, ironing and wardrobe tidying done at your place, by the hour, with nothing sent away and nothing lost.
Laundry shops take your clothes away, press everything the same way and occasionally lose a shirt. An in-home ironing and laundry service avoids all of that: the maid works in your home, with your machine, your hangers and your wardrobe, and everything is put away before she leaves.
It is booked exactly like any other visit — AED 35 an hour, minimum two hours. Most families book two to three hours a week for ironing alone, or add it to an existing cleaning visit.
A trained maid irons roughly 15 to 20 garments an hour depending on the fabric. Shirts and school uniforms are quick; linen, kanduras and abayas take longer.
What is included in a ironing and laundry visit
- Washing — sorting by colour and fabric, loading and running your machine, using your detergent.
- Drying and hanging — hung correctly so there is less to iron afterwards.
- Ironing — shirts, trousers, dresses, school uniforms, kanduras, abayas, bed linen and table linen.
- Folding and putting away — folded to your preference and returned to the right wardrobe and drawer.
- Wardrobe tidying — refolding shelves, grouping by type, straightening hangers.
- Bed linen and towels — stripped, washed, and beds remade.

Adding it to a cleaning visit
You do not have to choose. Many customers book a three or four hour part time maid visit and ask for two hours of cleaning and two hours of ironing. It is your booked time and you decide how it is used — just tell the maid at the start.

- A working iron and a stable board, or tell us in advance if you need us to bring one.
- Detergent and softener of your choice already in the house.
- Anything delicate, hand-wash-only or dry-clean-only set aside and pointed out.

How much does ironing cost in Dubai?
AED 35 per hour with a two-hour minimum, so AED 70 for a short session. We charge by time rather than per piece, which usually works out cheaper for a family load.
Do you take the laundry away?
No, and that is deliberate. Everything is washed and ironed in your home with your machine and detergent, so nothing is mixed with other households and nothing goes missing.
Do you iron abayas and kanduras?
Yes. They take longer than a shirt, so allow for that when choosing your hours. Tell us in advance if you have a large number.
Can you do the laundry while also cleaning?
Yes. A common pattern is to start a wash load, clean while it runs, then iron and put away at the end of the visit — all within your booked hours.
Do I need to be home?
No. Many customers leave access instructions and come home to the ironing done and put away.
