Sponsoring a full-time live-in maid in Dubai means a visa, medical, Emirates ID, accommodation, food, flights and a salary every month whether you need her that week or not. A part time maid costs AED 35 an hour and nothing else.
Because we are a licensed cleaning company — Noor Kasur Cleaning Services Co., DED licence 1109962 — the maid is our employee, on our licence, with her paperwork our responsibility. You are not employing anyone, so there is no visa risk and no fine for hiring an unsponsored worker, which is a real and expensive problem in the UAE.
Most customers start with one three-hour visit a week and adjust from there. There is no contract, no joining fee and no notice period.
What is included in a part time maid visit
- General house cleaning — kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors.
- Ironing and laundry — washing, hanging, ironing and putting away, if you want that instead of cleaning.
- Wardrobe and cupboard tidying — folding, sorting and reorganising.
- Kitchen reset — washing up, emptying the dishwasher, wiping the fridge, taking out rubbish.
- Bed linen and towels — changed and remade on request.
- Post-guest or post-party tidy — a short booking to put the home back together.

How often do people book?
- Twice a week, 2 hours. Popular for couples in one-bedroom apartments — AED 140 a week.
- Once a week, 3 hours. The most common booking for a two-bedroom family apartment — AED 90 a week.

Do I need to sponsor a visa for a part time maid?
No. Our maids are employed by Noor Kasur Cleaning Services Co. under DED licence 1109962. You are booking a service from a licensed company, not employing a person, so no visa or sponsorship is involved.
What is the minimum booking?
Two hours, at AED 35 per hour, so AED 70 for the shortest visit. There is no minimum number of visits and no contract.
Is it legal to hire a part time maid in Dubai?
It is legal to book cleaning staff from a licensed cleaning company such as ours. Hiring an individual who is not sponsored to do that work carries fines for the household in the UAE, which is exactly what booking through a licensed company avoids.
Will I get the same maid each time?
Yes on repeat bookings. We assign the same maid to your home so she knows your preferences, and we tell you in advance if she is unavailable and a colleague will come instead.
Can the maid do ironing instead of cleaning?
Yes. It is your booked time — tell the maid what matters most that day. Many customers use one visit a week for cleaning and another purely for ironing and laundry.
How quickly can a maid come?
Often the same day if one is free in your area. Otherwise usually the next day. Message us with your area and hours and we will send the first available slot.
